Baltimore vs. Tampa Bay - MNF Best Bets
Looks like the public is on Baltimore to cover -3.5 on the road vs. Tampa with 69% of the tickets and 70% of the cash. Temps in the mid 70’s with 10 mph cross winds. Should be a good one.
The Ravens have given up the third most passing yards and fifth most passing TDs so far this season. The Bucs pass defense isn’t much better, as they’ve given up 752 yards and 5 TDs through the air the last two weeks vs. the Saints and Falcons, which is worst in the league. Additionally, the Bucs have given up the most rushing TDs to QBs this year (4). That doesn’t bode well against one of the best rushing quarterbacks of all time. Vita Vea is expected to play and he does a great job at stuffing the middle, so look for Lamar to keep those read options and get to the outside, especially in the red-zone.
Tampa has been running the ball well lately, but they haven’t been tested. Baltimore has the number one ranked rush defense according to PFF. With the potential of playing from behind, I expect Tampa Bay will have to air it out tonight. Humphrey should be on Godwin for most of the night since Godwin is in the slot for 62% of snaps. That means Mike Evans will see Nate Wiggins, who sucks. If Tampa wants to win this game, look for Big Mike to be targeted early and often.
